DeenDayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Jhansi is situated near Jhansi Fort and is a prime place for gathering for art and cultural events in the city. It was built nearly 20 years back and was in a dilapidated condition due to poor upkeep. Due to this it was not in use for a couple of years.

UPRNN got the task to completely renovate this 500-seater auditorium and its surroundings. D Idea Architects was asked to develop the design for the complete refurbishment of the building including interiors finishes (wall finishes, false ceiling, acoustical treatment, chairs, stage etc.), exterior façade upliftment, air conditioning, firefighting, plumbing, sanitary fittings, lighting along with state of art audio visual system installation.

It is now once again one of the most vibrant cultural centres of the city and is being enjoyed by the local population and has already staged several events.
