Under the Ghaziabad Smart City Mission, a Truck Stand on Shaheed Sthal Metro Station Road in the South-Central part of the city is identified for upgradation/ redevelopment and has a site area of approximately 4764 sqm. The Smart city authority got feasibility studies done for this site to understand the best function suited for that plot and agreed to build a multi-level car parking there to ease the traffic issues in the area.

The site is located in the internal city area connecting to the busiest roads of the city. The access road faces heavy traffic flow, with no availability of a well-maintained parking management system.

The proposal consists of an MLCP building which has a basement and G+3 floors earmarked as parking. The total parking capacity in the MLCP is 233 two wheelers and 196 four wheelers. A few shops are also proposed along the front on the ground and first floor.
