The city of Saharanpur is one of the fastest-growing cities of western Uttar Pradesh and being an export hub for handicraft wood items, the city has seen substantial urbanisation in the last few years. Under the Smart City Mission, a multi-level car park was proposed for the inner city of Saharanpur. The site selected for this MLCP by the Saharanpur Smart City Ltd is situated in very densely populated area with lot of commercial activity in the vicinity with no designated parking area. The site is a part of Jubilee Park which surrounded from all side with the rear part of commercial buildings.

The vehicular entry and exit for this MLCP are segregated to avoid conflict and traffic build up. The entry is proposed from the longer road which will act as buffer area for waiting vehicles and will not disturb the traffic of surrounding roads. This building has one full basement, one semi basement and two floor to accommodate 237 cars. Extra 52 cars can be parked on terrace of the building if need arises. This parking is equipped with face and number plate reader, parking status censors, CCTV cameras, lifts for passengers and staircases as per fire norms. Commercial shops are also proposed on the front on two levels to make the project financially feasible.
